The metro runs six days a week from 5:30 am to midnight on all six lines.
Friday
10:00 – 00:00
On Friday service starts at 10:00 am to allow for Jumu'ah prayers, and runs until midnight.
Train frequency
3 – 10 min
3 to 5 minutes at peak times and 5 to 10 minutes off-peak.
Train frequency by time of day
Frequency is the same across the whole network, and the Riyadh Public Transport Authority does not publish a separate timetable for each line — check the platform screens and the darb app for the exact time of the next train.
Saturday to Thursday
Official frequency: 3–5 minutes at peak and 5–10 minutes off-peak. The breakdown by time of day above is indicative.
Friday
On Friday service starts at 10:00 am to allow for Jumu'ah prayers.

Friday is the day of Jumu’ah prayers in Saudi Arabia, so the metro starts running at 10:00 am instead of 5:30. The Friday opening time has changed more than once since the network opened, so it is worth checking this page or the darb app before you head to the station.
