About PNU 2

PNU 2 is the second of the two Line 4 (Yellow) stops at the Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University campus, lying north of PNU 1 along the line and therefore the closer of the pair for anyone leaving the campus for the airport. Like its neighbour it is an elevated station, with platforms above street level, and Line 4 is the only line serving it — there is no interchange here. Having two stations for one university is not duplication: the campus is very large, and splitting it between two stops shortens the walk whichever side you enter from. Northbound, trains run to the King Khalid International Airport terminals in order — Airport T5 first, then Airport T3-4, then Airport T1-2 at the end of the line. Southbound they head back through SABIC towards KAFD and the rest of the network, so students and staff have the airport in one direction and the financial district in the other, on the same platform.

It sits between PNU 1 and Airport T5 on Line 4.

It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
