About stc
stc is one of the more useful interchanges in western Riyadh: a single shared station underground, where Line 1 (Blue) coming down from the north meets Line 2 (Red) crossing from west to east. The name comes from the Saudi Telecom Company headquarters standing in this office belt on the fringe of Olaya and King Fahad District, and the station is deep tunnel. On Line 1 it sits between King Fahad District 2 and Al Wurud 2; on Line 2 it lies between At Takhassusi to the west and Al Wurud to the east. That geometry makes it a practical gateway between two very different axes: the Olaya corridor running north to south, and the Line 2 corridor linking King Saud University with King Fahad Sports City. Staff from the offices around it and passengers changing between the two lines account for most of its traffic. The name appears in lower case on the signage and in the darb app, following the company's own branding rather than the capitals used at every other station.
It sits between King Fahad District 2 and Al Wurud 2 on Line 1. It is a shared interchange station between Line 1 and Line 2: the lines call at the same station, so you change inside it without leaving the gates or paying for a second ticket.
It is a deep underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.

Like every Riyadh Metro station, this one has ticket vending machines, darb card gates, lifts, tactile guide paths for visually impaired passengers and signage in Arabic and English. Here is what you can normally expect to find.
Interchanges and connections
Line 1 (Blue). Direct trains run towards SAB Bank and in the opposite direction towards Ad Dar Al Baida. The adjacent stations are King Fahad District 2 and Al Wurud 2.
Line 2 (Red). Direct trains run towards King Saud University and in the opposite direction towards King Fahad Sport City. The adjacent stations are At Takhassussi and Al Wurud.
Changing lines. stc is a shared station served by Line 1 and Line 2. You change lines inside the same station, without leaving the gates and without paying for a second ticket — as long as your ticket is still valid, changing lines is completely free.
Buses. The darb system covers the metro and the buses on one ticket, and bus routes and bus rapid transit (BRT) services run around stc. You do not need a separate ticket to switch between metro and bus while your ticket is still valid.
Taxis and ride-hailing. Taxis and ride-hailing apps (Uber, Careem) are available at the station entrances for short trips beyond the network.
