About Qasr Al Hokm
Qasr Al Hokm is a shared interchange where Line 1 (Blue) and Line 3 (Orange) meet, in the historic quarter Riyadh grew out of. The station is deep tunnel, set in the surroundings of the Qasr Al Hokm district — the seat of the Emirate, the Grand Mosque and the old markets. It draws two quite different sorts of passenger: visitors coming for the historic area and its souqs, and travellers using it simply to swap between a line that crosses the city north to south and one that runs east to west, from Jeddah Road to Khashm Al An. Since both lines share one station, the change is made inside it, with no need to go out to the street. On the Blue Line it lies between Al Bat'ha to the north and Al Owd to the south. It is also the last interchange before the line's southern run: from here to Ad Dar Al Baida, seven stops away, no other line touches the Blue.
It sits between Al Bat'ha and Al Owd on Line 1. It is a shared interchange station between Line 1 and Line 3: the lines call at the same station, so you change inside it without leaving the gates or paying for a second ticket.
It is a deep underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
