About Uthman Bin Affan Road
Uthman Bin Affan Road is one of northern Riyadh's main arteries, and the station carrying its name stands elevated above the carriageway. Line 4 (Yellow) and Line 6 (Purple) both call here — this is the middle stop on the four-station trunk the two lines share between KAFD and SABIC, a single station serving both rather than two separate ones. The surrounding north-eastern corner of the city mixes residential compounds and villas with commercial frontages and small offices strung along the road itself and through the neighbourhoods behind it. Because the road is among the busiest in northern Riyadh at peak hours, the station gives the people who live along it a straightforward alternative to driving: southbound for the King Abdullah Financial District, northbound for SABIC, where the choice opens up between the airport to the north and the east of the city. Either direction costs the same flat SAR 4 (about $1.07) two-hour ticket.
It sits between Ar Rabi and SABIC on Line 4. It is a shared interchange station between Line 4 and Line 6: the lines call at the same station, so you change inside it without leaving the gates or paying for a second ticket.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
