About An Naseem
An Naseem is one of the large, settled districts of eastern Riyadh, and its station is the most important junction on this side of the network: a single shared station where Line 3 (Orange) and Line 6 (Purple) meet, with passengers moving between them inside the station itself rather than walking to a separate building. It is also the eastern end of Line 6 — every Purple Line service begins and finishes here before running west towards Al Hamra and KAFD. Line 3, by contrast, carries on east for two more stops to its own terminus at Khashm Al An. The station is a shallow-tunnel stop, and riders use it for the housing, markets and everyday services of An Naseem itself, or to move between eastern and northern Riyadh without going anywhere near the city centre. That last point is what makes it worth knowing: for a large slice of the city it turns a long cross-town trip into a single change.
It sits between Harun Ar Rashid Road and Hassan Bin Thabit Street on Line 3. It is a shared interchange station between Line 3 and Line 6: the lines call at the same station, so you change inside it without leaving the gates or paying for a second ticket.
It is a shallow underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.

Like every Riyadh Metro station, this one has ticket vending machines, darb card gates, lifts, tactile guide paths for visually impaired passengers and signage in Arabic and English. Here is what you can normally expect to find.
Interchanges and connections
Line 3 (Orange). Direct trains run towards Jeddah Road and in the opposite direction towards Khashm Al An. The adjacent stations are Harun Ar Rashid Road and Hassan Bin Thabit Street.
Line 6 (Purple). Direct trains run towards KAFD and in the opposite direction towards An Naseem. The previous station is As Salam.
Changing lines. An Naseem is a shared station served by Line 3 and Line 6. You change lines inside the same station, without leaving the gates and without paying for a second ticket — as long as your ticket is still valid, changing lines is completely free.
Buses. The darb system covers the metro and the buses on one ticket, and bus routes and bus rapid transit (BRT) services run around An Naseem. You do not need a separate ticket to switch between metro and bus while your ticket is still valid.
Taxis and ride-hailing. Taxis and ride-hailing apps (Uber, Careem) are available at the station entrances for short trips beyond the network.
