About Ministry of Finance
The last stop on the Green Line before its southern end is Ministry of Finance, a deep underground station on King Abdulaziz Road just south of the government quarter. It takes its name from the ministry standing beside it, and Line 5 is the only service calling. Its position gives the station two jobs at once. During the day it fills with the staff and official visitors you would expect at any stop in this corridor; at the same time, passengers coming down from the north treat it as the station immediately before National Museum, where the Green Line meets Line 1 (Blue) in a single shared station. Journeys from here to anywhere else on the route are short — the line is only 12.9 km (8 mi) end to end — and the flat, time-based fare means the distance makes no difference to what you pay. King Abdulaziz Hospital is the neighbouring station to the north.
It sits between King Abdulaziz Hospital and National Museum on Line 5.
It is a deep underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
