About Al Andalus
Al Andalus is an elevated station in eastern Riyadh, on Line 6 (Purple) and no other, named for the district it serves along with the housing around it. It sits on the line's south-eastern arc: Al Hamra, the interchange with Line 2 (Red), comes immediately before it, and Khurais Road immediately after. The rhythm here is a resident's rhythm — out to work in the north and west in the morning, back in the evening — with the district's shops, mosques and everyday services filling in the rest of the day. What the station is worth to this corner of the city is directness. In one direction, a single ride reaches Al Hamra and, further on, An Naseem, the end of the line and the point of exchange with Line 3 (Orange). In the other it runs to SABIC and on over the trunk shared with Line 4 into the King Abdullah Financial District, again without changing trains.
It sits between Al Hamra and Khurais Road on Line 6.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
