About Khurais Road
Khurais Road takes its name from one of eastern Riyadh's great through-routes, the axis that links the eastern districts with the middle of the city. The station is elevated, its platform above the street, and Line 6 (Purple) is the only line calling at it; on the line's south-eastern arc it falls between Al Andalus and As Salam. The surroundings are what a corridor of that size produces: showrooms, retail and commercial frontage lining both flanks of the road, with residential streets filling the ground behind it. For a passenger the appeal is straightforward — it converts a trip along a busy road into a trip on rails. From here the Purple Line continues south-east to As Salam and An Naseem, where Line 3 (Orange) is waiting inside the same station, or turns back west and north through Al Hamra and SABIC to the King Abdullah Financial District. Neither direction asks you to change trains.
It sits between Al Andalus and As Salam on Line 6.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
