About At Takhassussi
The name comes from Takhassussi Road, which crosses King Abdullah Road at this point in northern Riyadh — a shallow underground station on Line 2 (Red), sitting between KACST and stc. Its best-known neighbour is King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, on the same road, and that alone gives the station a dependable rhythm all day: outpatients arriving for appointments, families visiting inpatients, and the medical and administrative staff who keep the place running. Offices and commercial premises along both roads add the usual morning and evening peaks on top. Sitting where two major arteries meet also makes it a practical park-elsewhere-and-ride point for people coming into the north of the city who would rather not finish the journey by car. One stop east is stc, the shared station with Line 1 (Blue), from which the Blue line runs north to the financial district or south to the old centre; westwards, the Red line calls at KACST and King Salman Oasis before climbing back onto its viaduct at the university terminus.
It sits between KACST and stc on Line 2.
It is a shallow underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
