About Ishbiliyah
Built at street level in the Ishbiliyah district of eastern Riyadh, this Line 2 (Red) station sits between Al Khaleej and King Fahad Sport City. Ishbiliyah is a comparatively modern and sprawling residential area, with mosques, schools, services and retail distributed through it, and a good number of its residents rely on the station to reach workplaces in the north of the city and the centre in the morning and to come home at night. Being the last stop before the eastern end of the line also gives it a second role: on match days some of the crowd passes through here on the way to King Fahad Sport City, or uses it to avoid the busiest platform on the way home. There is no interchange at the station itself — Al Hamra, two stops west, is where Line 6 (Purple) is picked up, and the shared stations for Line 5 (Green) and Line 1 (Blue) lie further along the same westbound run. The line operates 05:30 to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 on Fridays.
It sits between Al Khaleej and King Fahad Sport City on Line 2.
It is an at grade station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
