About Ad Dar Al Baida
Line 1 (Blue) finishes at Ad Dar Al Baida, its southern terminus, roughly 38 km (24 mi) from SAB Bank at the far northern end of the city. The station is elevated, on the line's viaduct, and stands in Ad Dar Al Baida district on the southern fringe of Riyadh — a broad residential area that mixes settled older neighbourhoods with newer building on its edges. Being a terminus gives it two roles at once: serving the district and its immediate surroundings, and taking in passengers from the districts further south that the line does not reach, for whom this is the nearest way into the network. From here the centre of Riyadh, the historic quarter, Olaya and KAFD are all reachable on the same train, without a change at any point. Northbound trains also start empty here, which is worth knowing at rush hour: board at the terminus and you can travel the length of Riyadh with a seat.
It is the end of Line 1, after Al Aziziah.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
