About Al Bat'ha
Few districts in Riyadh are as crowded or as busy as Al Bat'ha, and its station — Line 1 (Blue) only, deep tunnel — sits right in the middle of it. This is an old commercial quarter built on retail, wholesale and small services, and a larger share of the people who work and shop here rely on public transport than almost anywhere else in the city. It shows: this is one of the busiest stations on the Blue Line in the evenings and at weekends. It lies between National Museum and Qasr Al Hokm, which puts it one stop from two different interchanges — Line 5 (Green) at the first, Line 3 (Orange) at the second — and makes it one of the easiest points in the centre to reach from almost anywhere on the network. The name is written Al Bat'ha on the signs, apostrophe included, and the station sits directly beneath the district's main commercial run rather than off at its edge.
It sits between National Museum and Qasr Al Hokm on Line 1.
It is a deep underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
