About Al Aziziah
Al Aziziah station serves the district of the same name in south-eastern Riyadh, and is elevated, on Line 1 (Blue) alone. Al Aziziah is a big district that has grown quickly over recent decades on the southern edge of the city, mixing affordable housing with the commercial and service activity strung along its main roads. Distances out here are long and destinations far apart, which is what makes the metro so practical for residents heading into the centre or the north, where the offices and government departments are: a trip that eats an hour behind the wheel at peak time becomes shorter and considerably cheaper on the train. The station falls between Transportation Center to the north and Ad Dar Al Baida to the south, the last station on the line. Being elevated, the platforms also give a clear view of just how far Al Aziziah spreads on either side of the viaduct — this is one of the largest catchments on the line.
It sits between Transportation Center and Ad Dar Al Baida on Line 1.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
