About King Fahad District
The northern half of King Fahad District is the catchment here — a district running west of King Fahad Road between Al Murooj and Olaya, mostly residential with a strip of offices and shops along its edges. This is a deep tunnel station on Line 1 (Blue), between Al Murooj and King Fahad District 2. Because the district stretches a long way from north to south, it was given two consecutive stations rather than one, so each half has a stop of its own within walking distance. The distinction is worth checking before you travel: work out which half of the district you actually want, because the walk from one station's catchment to the other is a long one. Residents use it for the daily run to the offices of Olaya, to KAFD and to the city centre; others travel the other way, for the district's internal streets and its services. Line 1 is the only line calling here, and the nearest place to change is stc, to the south, where the Red Line crosses the Blue.
It sits between Al Murooj and King Fahad District 2 on Line 1.
It is a deep underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
