About Skirinah
Skirinah is where Line 1 (Blue) comes back into daylight: an elevated station on a viaduct that rises above the road and looks out over the districts of southern Riyadh. The district itself is old and densely built — close-packed housing and narrow streets that predate the capital's modern expansion, with shops and daily services strung along the main roads. The station serves those residents above all, on their trips into the centre and the north, and for many of them the train replaces a long and unpredictable drive or bus ride at peak time. It sits between Al Owd to the north and Manfouhah to the south, and only the Blue Line calls here — the nearest interchange is Qasr Al Hokm, two stops north. Coming up out of the tunnel is the moment the journey changes character: the platforms sit above the rooftops, the southern districts open out on either side, and the rest of the trip to Ad Dar Al Baida runs in daylight.
It sits between Al Owd and Manfouhah on Line 1.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.

Interchanges and connections
Line 1 (Blue). Direct trains run towards SAB Bank and in the opposite direction towards Ad Dar Al Baida. The adjacent stations are Al Owd and Manfouhah.
Buses. The darb system covers the metro and the buses on one ticket, and bus routes and bus rapid transit (BRT) services run around Skirinah. You do not need a separate ticket to switch between metro and bus while your ticket is still valid.
Taxis and ride-hailing. Taxis and ride-hailing apps (Uber, Careem) are available at the station entrances for short trips beyond the network.
