About Al Wurud 2

Al Wurud 2 serves Al Wurud district, east of the Line 1 (Blue) corridor in northern Olaya, and is a deep tunnel station between stc and Al Urubah. The district itself is residential at heart, with commercial frontages and small offices along its main streets, and its western edge running into the office density Olaya is known for. Al Wurud is one of the older residential quarters of northern Riyadh, laid out long before the towers arrived on its doorstep, and its street pattern still reads that way. Residents use it for the daily journey to the workplaces of Olaya and KAFD, or south towards the city centre and Al Bat'ha; others arrive for the district's own shops and services. The 2 in the name distinguishes it from Al Wurud on Line 2 (Red) — two separate stations in different parts of the district, with no connection between them, so it is not a place to plan a change. Passengers moving between the Blue and Red lines do that at stc, the neighbouring station to the north.

It sits between stc and Al Urubah on Line 1.

It is a deep underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
