About Alinma Bank

Alinma Bank takes its name from the bank's headquarters on King Fahad Road immediately beside it, and is a deep tunnel station on Line 1 (Blue) in Olaya, between Al Urubah and Bank Albilad. This stretch has become the network's banking quarter: three consecutive stations named after major financial institutions strung along the same corridor. The passengers reflect that — finance staff and office workers from the surrounding blocks, plus visitors to the hotels and commercial premises scattered through Olaya. The tunnel here runs deep because the line passes underneath one of the busiest axes in the city, which is precisely what makes the metro a workable alternative to driving at peak times. Only Line 1 serves the station; the nearest interchange is stc, three stops to the north, while National Museum to the south is the meeting point with Line 5 (Green). The name catches out first-time visitors now and then — what you actually arrive in is Olaya, a few minutes on foot from Al Urubah Road, not a district called Alinma.

It sits between Al Urubah and Bank Albilad on Line 1.

It is a deep underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.

Frequently asked questions

Alinma Bank is on Line 1 (Blue) of the Riyadh Metro, which runs from SAB Bank to Ad Dar Al Baida.
Because this stretch of King Fahad Road is where the major banking headquarters are concentrated, so the stations took the names of the institutions beside them: Alinma Bank, then Bank Albilad. The northern terminus of Line 1 is named after SAB Bank for the same reason.
Al Urubah to the north and Bank Albilad to the south, both deep tunnel stations on the same King Fahad Road corridor through Olaya. Only Line 1 (Blue) serves them, and southbound trains carry on towards King Fahad Library and the city centre.
stc, three stops north, where Line 1 (Blue) meets Line 2 (Red) in a single shared station. In the other direction, National Museum is the interchange with Line 5 (Green), and Qasr Al Hokm, two stops beyond it, the interchange with Line 3 (Orange).
Service at Alinma Bank station runs to the Riyadh Metro network hours: from 05:30 to 00:00 Saturday to Thursday, and on Friday from 10:00 to 00:00. Hours change during Ramadan and the Eid holidays and are announced at the time — check the schedule page before you travel.
Yes. There are ticket vending machines (TVMs) at Riyadh Metro stations, and you can buy a card or top it up there or at a ticket office. Note that the darb app does not top up the card balance — full details on the darb card page.
