About Khashm Al An
Khashm Al An is where Line 3 (Orange) ends in the east — the last station on a route that crosses the whole of Riyadh, 40.7 km (25 mi) from its other end at Jeddah Road in the west, making it the longest line on the network. It is a shallow-tunnel station, preceded by Hassan Bin Thabit Street, and it serves the housing and facilities on this outer edge of the city. For local residents it is the way into everything else: from here trains run west to An Naseem, where Line 6 (Purple) can be joined, then on through Al Malaz to central Riyadh and Qasr Al Hokm, the station shared with Line 1 (Blue). Being a terminus brings one everyday advantage — trains start their runs empty here, so the chances of getting a seat for the long ride west are good, which matters more than usual on a line this length.
It is the end of Line 3, after Hassan Bin Thabit Street.
It is a shallow underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
