About Jeddah Road
Riyadh's Orange Line begins here, at the far western edge of the city, where Madinah Munawwarah Road runs out towards the highway to Jeddah — the road that gives the station its name. Jeddah Road is an elevated station, carried on the viaduct above the carriageway, and it is the western terminus of Line 3, the longest route on the network at 40.7 km (25 mi). Every eastbound train starts its run here, threading through the western suburbs before diving under the old city at Qasr Al Hokm, then continuing out to Al Malaz, An Naseem and Khashm Al An at the eastern end. For residents of the western districts it offers a straight run into the centre without touching the traffic on the road below, and because trains form up at the platform rather than passing through, passengers boarding here almost always find a seat. Line 3 is the only line serving the station.
It is the end of Line 3; the next station is Tuwaiq, towards Khashm Al An.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
