About Aishah bint Abi Bakr Street
Named after the well-known west Riyadh thoroughfare it serves, Aishah bint Abi Bakr Street station stands elevated on the Line 3 (Orange) viaduct and has no interchange with any other line. It sits in a dense residential quarter where shops and everyday services line the main streets, between Western Station and Dhahrat Al Badiah. Most of its traffic is local: residents travelling between the neighbourhood and the centre, since trains run through to Qasr Al Hokm, Al Hilla and Al Margab in the old city without a change. It works the other way round too, as a convenient way in for people coming from outside the district to reach the street itself and its shops. Line 3 is the network's longest route at 40.7 km (25 mi), and this station sits well out along its western, above-ground half. Platforms are at viaduct level directly above the street, so the walk from train to shopfront is a short one.
It sits between Western Station and Dhahrat Al Badiah on Line 3.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
