About Jarir District
Jarir District station stands east of Al Malaz, in an older residential quarter of eastern central Riyadh where homes and shops share the main streets. It is an elevated station on Line 3 (Orange), and it marks the point where the line climbs out of the tunnels that carried it under the city centre and returns to viaduct level, continuing east towards Al Rajhi Grand Mosque and Harun Ar Rashid Road. Passengers use it for the district's housing, its everyday services and the shops along its streets, or to reach Al Malaz and central Riyadh in a short ride west without a car. Being elevated has two practical effects: the platforms are reached quickly and directly from the street, and the ride out of the station opens up a wide view over the built fabric of eastern Riyadh. Only Line 3 stops here; the nearest place to change lines is An Naseem, further east.
It sits between Al Malaz and Al Rajhi Grand Mosque on Line 3.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
