About Dhahrat Al Badiah
Dhahrat Al Badiah serves the district of the same name in west Riyadh, a residential area that has stood for decades close to the line of Madinah Munawwarah Road. The station is elevated on the Line 3 (Orange) viaduct and no other line calls here. It falls between Aishah bint Abi Bakr Street and Sultanah, part of the chain of above-ground stops connecting the western fringe with the middle of the city. Residents of the district and the blocks beside it rely on it to reach the centre: trains run through to Qasr Al Hokm without a change, and Line 1 (Blue) can be picked up inside that same station. Travel the other way and the line ends at Jeddah Road, its western terminus. The immediate surroundings are what you would expect of an established Riyadh neighbourhood — mosques, schools, small markets and the daily business of the area, rather than sights.
It sits between Aishah bint Abi Bakr Street and Sultanah on Line 3.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
