About Al Rajhi Grand Mosque
The station takes its name from Al Rajhi Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in Riyadh and a landmark of the eastern side of the city — and, for many of its passengers, the reason for the trip, especially at Friday prayers, during Ramadan nights and at Eid, when the flow of riders multiplies. It is an elevated station on Line 3 (Orange), between Jarir District to the west and Harun Ar Rashid Road to the east, in a residential area edged by commercial streets and the usual neighbourhood services. Because the platforms sit on the viaduct, the mosque and the surrounding blocks are reached on foot straight from street level. All of that gives the station an unusual pattern for the network: its peak is weekly and religious rather than tied to office hours, so it can be quiet on a Tuesday afternoon and packed on a Friday morning.
It sits between Jarir District and Harun Ar Rashid Road on Line 3.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.

Line 3 (Orange). Direct trains run towards Jeddah Road and in the opposite direction towards Khashm Al An. The adjacent stations are Jarir District and Harun Ar Rashid Road.
Buses. The darb system covers the metro and the buses on one ticket, and bus routes and bus rapid transit (BRT) services run around Al Rajhi Grand Mosque. You do not need a separate ticket to switch between metro and bus while your ticket is still valid.
Taxis and ride-hailing. Taxis and ride-hailing apps (Uber, Careem) are available at the station entrances for short trips beyond the network.
