About Al Hilla
Al Hilla station lies in the old heart of Riyadh, a deep-tunnel stop on Line 3 (Orange) serving the Al Hilla district — one of the dense trading quarters beside Al Bat'ha and the historic centre. Line 3 serves it alone, with no interchange; it comes directly east of Qasr Al Hokm, the interchange with Line 1 (Blue), and directly west of Al Margab. The district is a warren of packed shops and market streets where parking is close to impossible, which is precisely why the metro suits it: shoppers, wholesalers and retail workers arrive without a car, and residents of the quarter use the same trains to get out towards west Riyadh, or east towards Al Malaz and An Naseem. There are few sights here in the conventional sense; the interest is the trade itself, which has been the business of these streets for generations and still fills them from morning until late.
It sits between Qasr Al Hokm and Al Margab on Line 3.
It is a deep underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.

Interchanges and connections
Line 3 (Orange). Direct trains run towards Jeddah Road and in the opposite direction towards Khashm Al An. The adjacent stations are Qasr Al Hokm and Al Margab.
Buses. The darb system covers the metro and the buses on one ticket, and bus routes and bus rapid transit (BRT) services run around Al Hilla. You do not need a separate ticket to switch between metro and bus while your ticket is still valid.
Taxis and ride-hailing. Taxis and ride-hailing apps (Uber, Careem) are available at the station entrances for short trips beyond the network.
