About Harun Ar Rashid Road
Harun Ar Rashid Road station sits beneath the road it is named after, one of the recognised arteries of eastern Riyadh, in a residential area with shops and services strung along the roadside. It is a shallow-tunnel station on Line 3 (Orange), and it is here that the line goes back underground after the short elevated run through Jarir District and Al Rajhi Grand Mosque, continuing east towards An Naseem. Riders use it for the housing and daily services of the districts around it, or as a convenient boarding point for anyone living along the road who is heading to Al Malaz and central Riyadh on a short trip. One stop east at An Naseem you can change to Line 6 (Purple) for northern Riyadh, and that is what makes this a useful spot in both directions — into the centre one way, up the eastern flank of the city the other.
It sits between Al Rajhi Grand Mosque and An Naseem on Line 3.
It is a shallow underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
