About Sultanah
Sultanah is one of the older neighbourhoods of west-central Riyadh, grown up along Madinah Munawwarah Road before the city pushed out further west, and the station takes its name from it. The platforms sit on the Line 3 (Orange) viaduct and no other line calls here. Between Dhahrat Al Badiah and Al Jarradiyah, it is among the last elevated stops before the route nears the heart of the city and drops into deep tunnel at Courts Complex. Residents use it for daily travel, and it also draws people into a district where housing and small commerce sit on the same streets — shops, workshops and neighbourhood markets rather than malls. From here Al Bat'ha and Al Deerah are only a few stations east, while the opposite direction runs out to Jeddah Road at the western end of Line 3. The change in the city's grain is visible from the platform: the blocks get tighter and older with every stop eastwards.
It sits between Dhahrat Al Badiah and Al Jarradiyah on Line 3.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
