About Al Jarradiyah
Al Jarradiyah is the last elevated station on Line 3 (Orange) for anyone travelling east — beyond it the line drops into the deep tunnel that carries it under central Riyadh. It serves the Al Jarradiyah district, which lies immediately west of the historic core and mixes housing with commerce and a number of government offices in the belt running towards Qasr Al Hokm. No other line calls here, but the station is only two stops from Qasr Al Hokm, where Line 3 and Line 1 (Blue) share a single station. Passengers use it to reach the district and its offices, or as an easy boarding point just before the line enters the crowded centre. It also makes a practical alternative to driving in: the streets ahead of it are narrow and congested, and the trains pass beneath them. The shift in character is obvious from the platform — westward the viaduct runs clear along the road, eastward the city closes in.
It sits between Sultanah and Courts Complex on Line 3.
It is an elevated station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
