About As Salhiyah
East of central Riyadh, in the belt of older quarters behind Al Bat'ha, As Salhiyah station serves an area where housing, small shops, workshops and service businesses grew up together during the city's first expansion. It is a deep-tunnel station and Line 3 (Orange) is its only line, sitting between Al Margab to the west and First Industrial City to the east, on the arm heading out towards Al Malaz and Khashm Al An. Most riders are here for the district's homes and shops, or use it as a quieter way into the historic core than the busier stations closer in. Qasr Al Hokm, where Line 3 and Line 1 (Blue) share a station, is only a few minutes west. The tunnel runs deep for a simple reason: the streets above were laid out decades before the metro, so the line was taken beneath the existing quarters rather than through them.
It sits between Al Margab and First Industrial City on Line 3.
It is a deep underground station and runs to the network hours: 5:30 am to midnight Saturday to Thursday, and from 10:00 am on Friday. The SAR 4 two-hour ticket covers the metro and the buses. Below you will find the station on the map, journey times, interchanges and facilities.
